Storming stage
Unlike the first stage where everything is rosy and you feel you guys were made for each other, in this stage, you’ll start seeing things you don’t like about the other person.
In this stage, you start misunderstanding each other and you’ll have to find ways to compromise when need be.
However, there are critical things in this stage that will bring an end to the relationship.
These things are obviously not your fault.
These things include genotype that doesn’t match, different religion etc.
Passing this stage gets you closer to making the relationship a serious and matured relationship and also a long-lasting relationship.

Norming stage
This is the aftermath of the storming stage.
You start dating properly knowing that negligence in either/both of you is what can end the relationship.
In this stage, you technically crossed all the hurdles in a relationship.

Performing stage
This is the stage you both start planning for marriage and both of you eventually get married.
In this stage, you guys start enjoying your marriage.
People will admire your marriage not knowing the struggle you both went through to get there.

It is important to know that dating and courting are two different things. Dating is the stage you both are meant to know each other, finding things about each other. Better still, it’s a stage you guys still have to prove to each other that the love is real.
On the other hand, courting is when both of you officially start a relationship that will lead to marriage.
